Well well well…
Looks like Indifferent D was a little but on the nose when he said, and I quote:
“I think it’s a great app for what it is: A rating system with the potential for a blind date or hookup. This app is a great tool for sex, hookups and dates and not so much on dating and relationships”
Now, more and more news is coming out about not only the popularity of the app, but also it’s focus on hooking up. I’m not saying I’m feeling smug or anything but…
I totally am.
With Tinder being a hot topic these days, I figured a nice little link roundup was in order. Onward!
My post from earlier in the year about Tinder before it took the hookup community by storm. #Toldyouso
Great article that breaks down why Tinder is so appealing to women.
I doubt that I need to explain why Tinder is appealing to men if 45% of the users are women so thats probably why that article hasn’t been written…..Oh wait it has
I think it’s pretty rare to find an article from a man who doesn’t like online dating. Especially one who says:
“For guys who love looking at pictures of girls in bikinis and frivolously casting a split-second judgment on them (guys like me, I mean), it came pretty close to being the greatest thing since sliced bread.”
To each their own I guess
In case you missed it, I had a great guest post published last week about Intercultural dating. Who knew that London had a vibrant Tinder pool? A pool that includes handsy Italians, but still…
If you’re worried about being catfished, I guess the idea of a dating app with video would be appealing. The downside? You’ll probably receive a ton of #starbucksdrakehands videos. Buyer Beware
And finally, I leave you with a video all Tinder users will appreciate:
Remember kids, be careful when you swipe. Those swipes cannot be undone.
Good luck out there
