Welcome back listeners! This episode is a good one. Question for you, have you ever dated someone and given them a nickname? Maybe it was a good nickname, or maybe it was a well deserved bad one. Either way, chances are good that you’ve done it at least once. I know I have quite a few. Well, I could talk about nicknames all day, but I figured I’d bring in a guest to help out.

In this episode I spoke to Mary Geneva, a woman who literally wrote the book on nicknames. The book is, rather aptly, titled Nicknames: Tales from the Shallow End of the Manhattan Dating Pool. In this episode we talk nicknames. We read some excerpts from the book, which are absolutely amazing, if amazing to you means hearing dating horror stories.  Trust me, this is one you don’t want to miss.

You can find Mary Geneva on Twitter @MaryGenevaNYC, on Instagram at @MaryGenevaNYC and her website NicknamesNyc.com and you can find her book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or directly from her here.

If you’ve ever had a bad dating experience, trust me, you’ll love hearing Mary’s stories. I know I had a great time acting out the part of one of those bad daters.
